Once again I'm doing the Great North Run for Cancer Research UK. Thanks to all of you who donated last year, I raised £435. I've put a target of £500 again, and hope, with your help, to get there this year. The run will be all the more poignant for me this time, as I lost my elder brother to the big C in March. So come on folks, get out those credit or debit cards and stick a donation on. It'll take you around 5 minutes, it'll take me about 100 to do my bit!

PS. I completed the run on Sunday 20th September, along with 50,000 others! Between us we raised several million pounds for a huge selection of charities. I'll be back again next year.....
