Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We will be cycling from Weybridge to Paris in four days! We will be in a group of twelve riders on eleven bikes and one tandem - lead by..... George - yikes!
We will be raising funds for the Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge.
Our itinerary:
Day 1. We will leave Weybridge at 7am on Friday 29th April and cycle 70 miles to Newhaven where we will spend our first night.
Day 2. We plan to be on the 9.30am ferry crossing to Dieppe and should arrive at 2.30pm (no we won't be cycling on deck!). We then cycle 34 miles to Forges-les-Eaux where we'll spend the night.
Day 3. We will leave Forges-les-Eaux at 7am and cycle 78 miles to Le Chesnay. We expect to arrive there at 5pm.
Day 4. We will leave Le Chesnay at 9.30am... onwards and upwards (with aching muscles) to Paris! We should be at the Eiffel Tower at 10.30am.
The weather forecast isn't brilliant (thunderstorms are forecast) but we'll cope.
