My story

 

I did the London Marathon for BAAF in 5 and a half hours yesterday! I still need a bit more if I am to meet BAAF's target of £1,500.

Why am I asking you to support BAAF?
There are just over 80,000 children in care in the UK. 4,000 need new permanent families every year. Their early experiences shape the rest of their lives, and without a permanent family these children face an uncertain future.

What could your donation pay for?
£10 – could provide information packs for three prospective adoptive parents calling the BAAF advice line.

£25 – could help BAAF respond to 15 telephone calls from potential carers for children awaiting adoption.

£50 – could pay for 20 copies of BAAF’s Be My Parent newspaper to be sent to prospective adopters. Be My Parent features around 200 children each month who are in need of permanent families. Last year 200 children were found new families as a direct result of being featured in the paper.
