Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
On May 17 2009 I will be competing in the the Great Manchester 10k Run to raise money for CWAC, Children with AIDS charity. It should be interesting to see how I am at the end of the Race as I have never run more than 3k, so 10k will be no mean feat.
Rebecca Handle was my first cousin, one of the founders of the Charity, who I grew up with. Rebecca was infected with HIV having had a blood transfusion during her second pregnancy, her unborn baby, Bonnie, was also infected. Rebecca died aged 37 years old and Bonnie at only 12 years old. As you can imagine, this Charity is very close to my heart and therefore I feel it is the time to do something worthwhile.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children With AIDS Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
