About our charity: The Histiocytosis Research Trust The Histiocytosis Research Trust
The Histiocytosis Research Trust aims to raise funds for research into the causes of histiocytosis and the development of improved means for diagnosis and treatment. Histiocytosis is a rare cancer-like disease that affects the lives of around one in 200,000 children and adults. It can be fatal in very small children and can leave sufferers with serious long-term physical disabilities.
