Personal message:

It’s long overdue but my rapidly expanding waistline and general unfitness has finally inspired me to take drastic action!

I’ve taken the plunge and have joined the gym and am about to embark on a serious fitness programme. The personal trainer is working out a programme (don’t think they realise what a challenge they face), I’ve started taking an interest in the latest gym equipment and I am raring to go.

The aim is to loose a minimum of 2.5 stone (15.9 kilo in new money) and to inspire and motivate me I thought I would raise some money for a very worthy cause on the way.

The Sunshine Orphanage in Luxor, Egypt now cares for 81 abandoned or orphaned children who would otherwise be living on the streets. If you are ever lucky enough to visit the Orphanage you will be moved by the friendliness of the children who rely on supporters to continue their vital work. Building work is now underway to build a purpose built children’s village to replace the overcrowded current buildings. Further information on Sunshine can be found at
http://www.sunshine-international.org.uk The children will really appreciate whatever help you can give.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sunshine will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
