Story
We're all feeling gloomy about what has happened in London over the last few days.
But London is a strong, vibrant, indie-music loving, generous community and we know we can get past all this and make our city even greater!
We've found the Safer London Foundation, which works with young people to build safer, stronger communities across London. You can find out more about them and their projects here: http://www.saferlondonfoundation.org/
This is the Safer London Foundation's statement on the London riots:
RIOTS IN LONDON
The Safer London Foundation is shocked and saddened by the violence across London following the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan.
Over the past few years SLF has worked with organisations to empower and support young people across London to successfully deliver projects and activities for their peers and their communities. It is frustrating to think that the great work done by the vast majority of young people is likely to be overshadowed by these events.
We will do everything we can in the coming weeks and months to continue to support young people’s efforts to make a positive difference in their communities.

With your help, Feeling Gloomy would like to help the Safer London Foundation to make this positive difference.
Please donate whatever you can to fund these crucial projects for communities across London. If you want to find out more, or get involved with volunteering with SLF, get in touch with them at info@saferlondonfoundation.org.
And don't forget to come along to Feeling Gloomy and Club de Fromage this Saturday to dance away your post-riot blues!
