Welcome to the Musequality page dedicated to people from Goa, wherever they are in the world.
We would like to invite you to support our work to change the lives of disadvantaged children in Goa.
Our aim is to raise funds for a new music-making project, giving disadvantaged children the chance to engage in an activity that will give them the self-belief, self-confidence and skills they need to turn their lives around.
The project, which will be run by a Goan, is likely to be a string project, building on and reviving a long-standing string tradition in Goa which is at risk of dying out. Our project director plays the violin and will teach in the project; he will also identify and work with elders in the community who could pass on their musical knowledge – so the project will have an impact on the wider community and on preserving traditional skills as well as changing the lives of the children who get involved.
We hope you will support us by donating to our work through this page. Is the issue, in reality, the fact that they are publicising what they are doing and that that might be misleading and open to fraud? All proceeds from this page will go directly to the project in Goa.
Thank you for supporting us!
