Skandavale Hospice is a registered, independent charity run by Skandavale Monastery. Nestled in the heart of the scenic village of Saron , Skandavale Hospice is an oasis of peace and calm where terminally ill patients and their families are rendered FREE selfless service.

Skandavale Hospice is run entirely on donations (no NHS grant or government sponsorship) and is managed by an amazing team of dedicated and well trained monks, nuns and volunteers. It offers invaluable inspirational service in a non-institutional homely environment. Every effort is taken to make each day at the Hospice a memorable experience filled with compassion and care where the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patients are tended to sensitively. It also provides a respite service to patients’ carers, giving them some valuable breathing space to rest and recharge their batteries.

We are truly delighted to once again be part of the 10-mile Sponsored Coastal Path Walk in aid of Skandavale Hospice. The route along the Pembroke coast is both breath-taking and revitalising and this is an annual event that we wouldn’t miss for the world, come torrential rain, hailstorm or gale!
