Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Beginning April 16th 2012, I am departing on my latest adventure, walking 100+ miles across the Alps from Grenoble, France to Turin, Italy, home of the famed Turin shroud. Along the way I will be posting regularly on my Facebook event page http://www.facebook.com/events/258315297584357/ and filming a video diary, which will give you something to watch upon my return and let you know how I got on. Why am I doing this? Well it combines two things I love to do. Walking amongst mountains and raising money for good causes. Why is Diabetes UK a good cause? Well, apart from being Diabetic myself, many of the people we know and love are coping with Diabetes. Others we know may not even have been diagnosed yet!
