Hello! In October I will be travelling to Uganda to do my gap year with Smile International. I have previously been to Kosova with Smile on two seperate mission trips and fell in love with the charity and the work that they do. I have also wanted to do a gap year and have a particular passion for African countries.

In Uganda, I will be:

• Working on Smile projects in the slums
• Teaching children in local schools and/or running a children‟s holiday club
• Preparing craft work
• Taking part in sports activities
• Supporting the local church
• Manual work as appropriate, such as building/painting/decorating
• Smile‟s sponsorship programmes
• Outreach and evangelism
• Hospital visitation
• Praying for the sick
