Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Treloar’s is a UK charity offering education, therapy, and care to 180 physically disabled young people aged 4–25. We create a supportive, inclusive environment where students with complex clinical needs can learn, grow, and gain independence through tailored programmes.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Many of you have sponsored me for the marathon before so your help is again much appreciated. I know that I vowed to never do it again but I've never had that much willpower! I can't wait to do 700+ miles of training in the beautiful wet and cold wintry weather that the UK offers! Some people have suggested that I run it this year dressed up as either a pack of Marlboro Lights, a can of Red Bull, or a Scotch Egg. I've painstakingly considered these suggestions, and have decided to blatantly ignore all of them.

Treloar Trust is a very worthy charity. They provide care, medical treatment and support to children with a wide range of physical disabilities, including Cerebal Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy, and rely heavily on donations in order to keep these centres open. Money raised from events such as London Marathon is invaluable to them and so please sponsor me now!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Treloar Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation

Many thanks

Graham
