The hospice provides 10 specialist beds for patients free of charge and support loved ones through illness and bereavement. They need to raise £850,000 a year through fund raising to keep the site open. We hope to raise £10,000 to help support the charity – this is a big challenge as we only have 7 months in which to hit our target. Many people either know somebody or know of somebody who has experienced the services/support provided by St Anne’s Hospice. Both of us have known people who have spent much time at the hospice, unfortunately losing their battle with life in the prime of their life– which is why we have chosen to help support them and raise as much money as we can to help them continue to provide the care and support that so many people have already received.
