Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing totally free, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families. Your local Marie Curie Hospice actively promotes quality of life for people with cancer and provides support for their families. The services are completely free to patients. World class scientists at the Marie Curie Research Institute are investigating how cancer develops to find better ways of treating the disease in the future.

My story

Once again, I am getting on my bike to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. In August 2008 I rode over 600km from Warsaw to Vilnius (see pic) and raised over £4,200. In September 2009 I'll be riding 666km (apparently) from Malin Head to Mizen Head - the John O'Groats to Lands End of Ireland - so it is going to be hilly this time! Training began in March, and I'll be making longer trips to, erm, come to terms with my new saddle. I think it will be a tough trip, so please show your sympathy and give generously!
