My story

Many thankss to all who sponsored me in the Great North Run and the Chicago Marathon. The result of the fundraising can be seen above.

But there's a PS to this, which is not so easily seen in the figures. 15 days after the Chicago Marathon, I ran the Dublin Marathon. I thought that it would be a very gentle wind-down, and I prepared and planned as such, thinking that I would crawl across the line somewhere around 5 hours.
That's what I thought. From nowhere, I ran my personal best, crossing the line in 4h 8m 50s.

With all these races, October was an exhausting month, but what a way to finish!

Many thanks for your support.

Robin
