I'm running the Great North Run, the largest long distance running event in the world. It's the one on TV where the red arrows fly over a bridge, somewhere in Newcastle.

I've paid for my entry & a night in a geordie hotel!

All I need to do now is buy some new trainers, get fit over the summer & raise some much-needed cash for the British Heart Foundation.  One statistic: cardio vascular disease is the UK's biggest killer, killing 250,000 people per year.
