My story

 

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This is the first time I've done anything like this but I am a great admirer of the work that Article 25 do in developing countries and wanted to do my bit to help. This is a big adventure for Julia and I from Green Tea Architects and we are delighted that we are going to be joined on our expedition by our friend Krystyna Kwasniewska.

We are starting our training in May and hope to be transformed into cycling athletes by November! It's a real challenge, but knowing you are sponsoring us will encourage us to stick with the training. We may not be olympic material but we are going to do our best and make you proud of us.

16th June - training progressing well with Krystyna -if we can't talk-we're cycling too hard

22nd June - Just been for my Cuba 'jabs'- thanks Annette for making sure I made it there.

12th July - tried some off-road cycling on the Isle of Wight with my old mountain bike - everything went well except the front brake kept sticking, the right grip shift fell off and the wind blew the bike over and smashed the rear brake lever! I need a new bike.

16th July - Found a  cereal website with a  competition  to win a new mountain bike - so I entered - fingers crossed!
