Lee Griffin is cycling to Cornwall!

Wait, why am I talking in the third person? Basically I thought this would be fun to do. Cycling from Bristol down to Lyme Regis (the easy part) followed by a second day's cycling to Bodmin (my home town) to end the journey. That last bit's the hard part.

I of course told a couple of people about my plans, just in case the wondered why I was out so long getting eggs and milk, and they had only one thing to say to me... "Uh...why?"

Well, it was just going to be for my own enjoyment but I thought actually it would make sense to also try and inspire some good from you all too! To that effect, don't let this bike ride just be about me having fun (though plenty of people seem to think it won't be, should I be worried?!), also let it be about raising some money for charities throughout the UK that are doing important work in inspiring, motivating, educating and supporting our kids.

Donations on this site are unfortunately subject to a service charge, but Children in Need is one of the best charities for redistributing donations so be assured that something like only 10-15% (depending on the charities Children in Need gives to) of your donation won't reach people who need it...much better than those other nasty charities that will gladly take over 40%!

If you think that extra 5% or so is important, and you are around to see me at some point, then you could always donate offline in person and I'll ensure the money is deposited to Children in Need the old fashion way.
