Geoff, his wife Julie and friend Cathy Clucas have taken on the challenge to run the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon. This is the first time that all of them have run a Marathon and they hope to raise much needed funds for Geoff's newly set up Foundation. The Foundation was set up after Geoff was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in 2003. The Foundation has bought together the five leading Leukaemia centres across the UK including Birmingham, London, Manchester, Nottingham and Oxford. The GTF aims to provide the financial support so that the Professors at these centres can work together to find a cure for this terrible disease.
