My story

On the 2nd November 2008 Geoff & Julie Thomas will take part in their second marathon challenge on the streets of New York.

They will be accompanied this time by a team of 20 other runners.  Forming part of the 'GTF Team' will be ex-cyclist Stephen Roche and Brian Smith along with a number of Sports Journalists and contacts of the GTF.

The whole team are aiming for a time of under 4 hours which will be a massive achievement after the time of 4.28 in London.

Billions of pounds have been spent on medical research and scientists have invented a host of potentially life-saving therapies. But getting them to the patients who need them is a slow process. The Foundation wants to help speed up the delivery of these new drugs to the patients who need them.

So please dig deep and help support Geoff and his team in his next challenge!
