We increase awareness of male cancers to help those who are affected

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our team's JustGiving page.

We will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats in one week, to raise funds for Male Uprising Guernsey (www.mug.gg).

The focus of MUG is threefold. To increase awareness, promote education and raise £250,000 over the next three years. Funds will be used in the research into testing, cures and treatments in the areas of prostate, bowel and testicular cancer.

They also aim to educate and raise awareness of these diseases by aiming to get men, whatever their age, to be more confident, outgoing and questioning of their symptoms. Most importantly, to encourage men to seek medical advice and assistance at the earliest opportunity  - as procrastination or delays can have deadly consequences.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many Thanks

Guernsey - Ride Across Britain Team
