Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have decided this year to challenge myself to complete the 500k bike ride from London to Paris (taking place on June 3rd-7th)!
The charity for which I will be raising money for is 'Action for Children in Conflict' - what they basically aim to do is to help those children whose lives have been affected by extreme poverty, hunger, illness and neglect via various forms of conflict/ war. This charity is personally very important to me; it sickens me to think of things that children have to go through the actions of those adults who should be doing more to protect them.
I would really appreciate you all digging deep, and helping me to reach my target and raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause. N.B. I must raise £1000 of the total target by 11/03/09.
