About the charity

The Hackney Empire is a leading London theatre dedicated to the widest range of popular entertainment which affordable and accessible diverse communities within some of the most deprived areas in country. Through its business and redevelopment of the theatre complex, it has brought prosperity and a sense of pride to the area and continues to bolster its social and economic regeneration. It supports and natures new talent and champions the achievements of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to make positive choices about the directions their lives should take and that of their communities.
