This year I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Childrens Chronic Arthritis Association. A few years back my son Billy was diagnosed with arthritis in a couple of joints. Fortunately for us it's easily treatable but our experience did reveal to me how badly some other children suffer with arthritis. At present no one knows why children are afflicted with the disease and there's no known cure - only medicines/treatments to alleviate and halt the process.
