My story

After the fantastic fundraising and awareness raising efforts for CRY at the Bath Half Marathon 2006, a rather smaller - but no less intrepid - band of runners, will be tackling the event again in 2007.

CRY Patron and former England Rugby International, Simon Halliday, is once again at the forefront of this endeavour, and amongst his group of 20 or so runners, he is hoping to be joined (fitness permitting!) by former England Rugby Union Captain Will Carling, and former Wales Rugby Union Captain, Ieuan Evans.

Commenting on the Half Marathon, Simon said:

"We simply have to get round in under 2 hours.  That is my objective after my blow up last year in the closing miles!"

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
