My story

Hearing about the suffering in Burma and the  problems there have been in aid
reaching those who need it, the Hall Mead School community have decided to try  to raise funds for the work of Kids Alive there as we know every penny we raise  will reach the children who so badly need our help.

We would particularly like to provide funds to rebuild the New Life orphanage which has been devastated by the cyclone.

Please help us to help Kids Alive to help these children. Donate on this site or send a cheque to Hall Mead School (www.hallmeadschool.com) fao Mrs Moore, payable to Kids Alive UK

School News:

Mr Rodgers

Mr Rodgers has written a song especially in support of Kids Alive.

"Mr. Rodgers has written a song especially in support of Kids Alive. We have had it recorded by students of both Hall Mead School and of the Engayne Primary School Choir - CDs are now on sale for £5. We had an excellent live performance of the song accompanied by a live 12-piece band at the Hall Mead Summer Concert on 9th July. We have had the CD aired on BBC Radio Essex and on Link FM to promote the appeal.  Please contact Tom Rodgers (go to www.tomrodgers-music.net/kidsalive.htm or email him at tom@tomrodgers-music.net) or telephone the school on 01708 225684 (termtime only)."

Rohana Bose and Rebecca Price

Rohana and Rebecca have written a song for Kids Alive and it has been recorded along with Mr Rodgers' song on the above CD.
