Volunteers help us during the busy summer playschemes
The Hamlet Centre has been providing vital services and support to children and adults with disabilities - and their families and carers - in Norfolk for nearly 30 years. We receive funding from the local authorities for the provision of adult day services, holiday and saturday playschemes and youth clubs. In order to provide additional, needed services like the unique toy library (including the toy library bus), sensory rooms and our out of hours befriending scheme we do depend on donations. Parents have called us 'a lifeline' and the befriending scheme is so successful that we have waiting lists, - but our resources are stretched and to keep providing high quality services to our families we need ongoing support both with running costs and one off donations.
