After the event..

We are totally delighted to report that we raised a massive £4200 at the Hampshire for Haiti Fundraising Event (Tuesday 16th March 2010) - more than doubling our target! Turnout was staggering - so many people made such an effort to be there - the car park was at capacity and we think there may have been as many as four hundred people through the venue during the course of the morning!!!

EVERY CAKE baked and bought along was sold, EVERY PRIZE donated for the prize board was sold, TONS of your nearly new and unwanted jewellery sold and the silent auction items were bought for generous amounts. Everyone seemed to have a really great time, we certainly did, and the buzz in the room was lovely.

A thousand heart felt thank-you's for everyone involved in making the day such a huge success - the hard working Volunteers who set-up and ran the stalls (Jojo, Jane V, Jane B, Sophie, Angus, David, Mrs Dumas, Caitlin, Cindy, Natasha to name but a few) the Prize Givers (letters of thanks with you soon), the hoards of excellent cake bakers and blingers, those who manned the kitchen and kept the coffees coming, those who gave free printing and PR to the event, Starbucks for the coffee, and so many more - thank-you all !!!!!!!

It was such good fun, and for such a great cause - who knows, we might just do it all again next year!!
