The Hampshire Microlight Club has selected Help for Hero`s as its Charity to support for 2008

Events have been planned for 20th September, weather permitting, to gain sponsorship for the charity.

Ten pilots are attempting to visit ten different airfields each, to make over 100 separate airfields visited on the day.

One of the pilots, Steve Slade, has gone a bit OTT and is trying to set a new Guinness World Record for the number of strips visited in one day (rules are being discussed with GWR).

If you are a `microlight flyer` or would like to be, you would be made very welcome at our flying events and club nights – see our website for contact details.

In the meantime please help us to support this very worthwhile charity and ease the suffering of our injured Servicemen and women.
