2010 will see me and my ageing legs running for Kidney Research UK in the first Virgin London Marathon (but my third) on April 25th.
Many of you have been kind enough to visit my fundraising pages many times before and your generosity in supporting me and this important charity is very much appreciated. My one kidney is now a well documented reason for raising funds for Kidney Research UK but also those of you who sponsored me for the London to Paris Cycle ride last September will know that I rode in memory of an old LAMDA colleague of mine, Gary Raynsford, who had lived successfully for many years with a kidney transplant but sadly died last year. I will continue to raise funds with him in mind and for all those three million people in the UK whose lives are under threat from chronic kidney disease. This is for you.
