I am raisng money for The Neuropathy Trust. I am a type 2 sufferer of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy  (RSD) or as it is also known Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Not alot is known about neuropathic pain, there is no known cure for RSD/CRPS & this chronic illness can be debilitating. 

My fight against RSD/CRPS started in June 2008 when I had a simple operation on my knee. Recovery didn't go well & the pain was excruciating. Further tests were carried out & I was told I had nerve damage & RSD/CRPS. 18 months on & I am disabled. I have significant muscle wastage on my left leg, my mobility is severely restricted & I live with constant pain. This is why I am trying to raise as much money as possible to fund more research into RSD/CRPS in the hope that one day a cure can be found.
