A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has come this far in supporting me for my Charity skydive, I really appreciate it. Everyone knows how much difference a little support can make. The money I am raising will aid those who are facing a difficult journey through their diagnosis and treatment of Leukaemia lymphoma, myeloma and the allied blood disorders and also provide support for their families. As appropriately quoted on the Leukaemia CARE website the charity is 'supporting a quality of life for all'.
Since becoming involved with this charity skydive I have become more aware of the challenges other people face. I have read numerous blogs of those with the disease and the diaries of their everyday challenges. I have never read about such courageous people. They push their ambitions, remain strong and retain a positive sense of humour, whilst battling with a life threatening disease. It is people like this who are an inspiration to everyone and it is up to you and me to make their goals ever more reachable.
To them, their achievements in life are their rewards; to us their life is our reward. Lets do everything we can to help their struggle for life.
