My story

 
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In 2000 and 2003 I took part in community service water projects in the Machakos District of Kenya. In July 2009, with a fellow expedition member, I intend to return to the community to take some photos of the water tanks and sand dams to update the donors in the UK. I would like to help continue the work of the self help group by bringing a further £500-£1,000 with me to support the group's current projects.

Excellent Development works with community self-help groups in Kenya, supporting them to improve their water supply, food production, health and incomes by addressing the problems they face in their day-to-day lives.

Currently EDK is the operational partner, with ED UK and ED US providing fundraising and capacity building support.
