Story

Saturday 4 July 2009

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are after your money.

We have a team of around 60 individuals cycling the 82 miles from Annesley to Skegness aiming to raise about £5,000 in total.

Your money will be matched by E.ON.  The government will also add 25% as well if you tick the Gift Aid box.  So please be generous.

This ride is going to be very painful for many of the riders – it’s going to be a tough challenge for them.

By making a donation you are sponsoring the entire team and helping the Hayward House Cancer Care Trust at Nottingham continue with their truly magnificent work.  They deserve your support even if we don’t.

We’d love to see you at the finish line, the Royal Hotel, South Parade, Skegness, where you’ll be able to laugh at the state we’re all in and enjoy a beer or two.

Take care, many thanks for your donation and please don’t forget to tick the gift aid box.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hayward House Cancer Care Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

About the charity

Hayward House is a Palliative Cancer Care Unit, a "hospice within a hospital". It is dedicated to relieving the suffering of progressive cancer which can be physical, emotional, social or spiritual, and involves both the patients and the family.
