Well I finished the 10k run in an hour and ran the whole way, which I was really pleased with. The fact there was 6000 all doing the warm-up together meant the adrenalin was flowing from the start.I enjoyed it that much that I will do another one at some point.

I feel really thankful for our efforts, it is amazing what you can do to make a difference. I know Hazel would be very proud especially as Cathy and I worked on creating the site together and is Hazels, Cathys aswell as my friends and colleagues who have supported us so generously.

The inspiration for raising money, is our late Mother, Hazel, this picture of her was taken in New York a few years ago. For as little as the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help to change the future of this disease by ensuring that research continues and support can be available to other sufferers.

Hazel lost her fight in August 2003. Research is critical and your contribution means a huge amount. If we can support finding a cure then, well others may not have to experience this evil disease. My sister Cathy and I never thought for a million years this could happen to our family. They say you just never know what is ahead.
