Paul Galloway's Story.

"I was injured on 12 March 2003 in a serious Road Traffic Accident. I was then aged 21 and a soldier at the time. I was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver of the car I was in pulled out of a junction on to a 60mph road without looking. The car that was travelling in the opposite direction hit my side and flipped myself and the driver.

"I was cut out of the car and had to be air lifted to hospital where I was in a coma for over two weeks. Once out of the coma I had to have my face rebuilt on the right hand side. I suffered a serious brain injury from which I still suffer today.

"I am now aged 29 and I joined Headway in January 2011. I have met some class lads and our special staff member of our group Gemma. Gemma is the mother hen of the group and also looks out for us, for which I thank her a lot."
