Well I did it and got the sore legs to prove it! I really didnt realise how tough it would be, especially the last 2 miles. The constant rain didn't help any either but hey, I still managed to stumble over the finish line in 2hrs 9mins 42secs. Thanks to everyone who took the time to sponsor me. Your support was greatly appreciated. Im blessed to have such great friends and family in you all. I promise to write to you all personally when I get the chance. Theres photos and footage of me coming over the finish line on 'marathon-photos.com' if you want to have a look. I've also put some of our pics of the day on here. Thanks again.

Ally, Mum and Me on one of the beaches on Arran.
I have a heart full of happy memories of all our family at our cottage there.
Happy times, before we knew anything about Huntingtons Disease.
I'm doing this run for my poor mum, who suffered so badly, died too young, but was never diagnosed.
I'm doing it for my wee Papa and Uncle Beenie, who fought HD so gallantly.
I'm doing it for all of us in our family and others living with the 'At Risk' burden. Its a heavy one to bear.
Most of all I'm doing it for my wee brother, who's suffering with HD right now.
Ally, please be strong and try to keep positive. There's still lots of happiness out there if you look for it.
Remember we're all with you every step of the way.
Please, Please dig deep and support me in this worthwhile cause.
Its easy, safe and secure to donate with justgiving and they will send your donation straight
to Scottish Huntingtons Association and automatically reclaim Gift Aid if you are a UK Taxpayer.
Together we can bring a brighter future for families suffering with this awful disease.
