The SPACE Centre is unique.   Established in 1993, it is the largest multi-sensory environment in the United Kingdom for people with special needs.  We are really lucky that it is so close to us in Preston, Lancashire. It is a large, soft-padded multi-sensory room, with specialist lighting and even a slide!  At SPACE, our very precious daughter, and sister,  Lauren can move around in safety and develop skills, in a calm and controlled atmosphere.  She has been able to go there regularly over the last 15 years. They are currently fundraising to expand as there is such a demand for its use.
