3 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The challenge:

The Heb is a super physical challenge that takes place in wild and rugged Outer Hebrides of Scotland over 5 days, this July.

Our team of 5 mishaps will cover over 700 kms using manpower only - a combination of hill running, mountain biking, road biking, swimming and sea kayaking whilst simultaneously coping with all the navigational decisions and logistical problems that arise, including the creation of the perfect porridge for breakfast. No mean feat for the elite...let alone us!

The team:

  • Daddy Bear - Q " Grumps" Boyes
  • Mummy Bear - Russ "Andrex" Dawkins
  • Baby Bear - Kirk "which way?” Page
  • Baby Bear's special friend - Dave "au nature" Kitson
  • Goldilocks - Laura "natter " Hoyle

So why are we taking part in this madness? Keen sports people ourselves (some more than others!) we wanted to give something back and support Access Sport. Access Sport is a small charity that aims to transform lives through sport, by getting kids off the streets and into community sports clubs thereby fighting serious issues such as child crime and obesity. It’s quite simple, the more money they have, the more children they can introduce to sustained sports programmes...which keeps them off the streets and makes a lasting difference to their lives.

And why do we want to raise £10k? Well, that’s 5 new clubs supported for a year!

So please dig deep and support us...if only to write some abuse on our wall!

Thanks
