I'm running to raise money for a charity doing brilliant work in Hackney; The Robert Levy Foundation. You can learn more about them here - www.robertlevyfoundation.org/1/ - but to give you a brief outline, they work with young people on a number of issues surrounding growing up safely in their local community. They organise an annual event with the theme of ‘empowerment’ and, alongside all of this, they facilitate workshops in secondary schools too.
I wouldn't be surprised if I'm their only runner in the 5K unlike some charities who will have, literally, hundreds of women doing it for them. Your donation will really mean a lot to them and will definitely make a difference to their work and the work they're able to carry out.
I appreciate that everyone is watching their pennies at the moment but anything you can spare will be gratefully received by the charity and I'll be eternally grateful too!
Donating through Justgiving is easy and secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me as The Robert Levy Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks
Heidi
