Years ago, when I was six, my father died of a massive heart attack. He was 41. I turn 41 this year.  

Last year, I raised £725 by running a half marathon: this year I'm running a full marathon, and in response to lots of requests, I thought it would make sense to get that total up to a round £1000.   Then I promise to stop raising money for charity.  Promise (crosses heart faithfully).
