About Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre

The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre (HADC) is now entering its 33rd year and is the oldest centre offering assessment and tuition to those with Dyslexia.

As understanding of dyslexia is increasing, so more and more people realise that there is need for the individualised services we provide. It is always gratifying to note the progress our clients make once they receive this focused support.

Children and Adults of all ages are welcome.

The last year was as busy for the centre as any of the staff can remember, with its services helping some 2,100 individuals. 650 professionals were trained and the centre supported more than 50 different organisations.

HADC is proud to have been sponsored to extend its work into schools and prisons.
