A warm welcome to all who visit my "WALL OF DEATH RIDE" fundraising page.
After being called "nutty Helen" and "questionably mad" by most of my friends, I decided to live upto my labels & grab 2008 by the proverbials and do something "impresive!".
Having seen the incredibly stunning and amazingly exhilarating "MOTORCYCLE WALL OF DEATH" show at the end of 2007, I was totally in awe of what I had seen and thought "I want to do that".
So the owner and performer of the wall of death, Ken Fox, to my stunned shock and disbelief, very kindly agreed to my odd request to be taken onto his wall. Not only did he say yes but he also suggested I may even sit on the handle bars for my ride. Well I guess that gives my "nutty" and "mad" labels some credibility.
So on Sunday October 5th I will be at Skegness with Ken Fox and his troupe having a heart stopping, teeth gritting, adrenaline pumping, true white knuckle of a ride on their famous wall of death. All are welcome to come & see me scared witless!
And as I am lucky enough to be having my wish granted i thought it would be the perfect opportunity to raise both much needed funds and awareness for our local "WISHES 4 KIDS" charity, thus helping to grant wishes for some very special children.
The more we raise the more wishes we can help grant, so with your generous donation and support we can make this impressive. After all how often do you hear of someone being taken onto the wall of death..........hopefuly on the handle bars?!
If you would like to take a peek at the Ken Fox troupe and their incredible wall of death then visit http://www.wall-of-death.co.uk/ and prepare to be amazed.Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Wishes 4 kids will recieve your money faster and, if you are a uk tax payer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
If you have any questions at all you can email me at www.helenwallofdeath@tiscali.co.uk .
It all adds up in the end and every penny helps so please give whatever you can, small or large, and be a part of something really special.
Happy wishes to you all.
