Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, this journey started when Larrie made the mistake of commenting to me that he would like to do a running event with me! I'm sure at the time he had in his mind a 10km race, max,  if at all he thought I'd take him up on it! Now, 6 years ago this September we didn't get a honeymoon due to the fact I'd signed up to run the Great North Run so what a better way to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary than doing the Great North Run together 😂

Not only will we be spending some quality husband and wife time together with a little competitive spirit but we will also be raising money for a cause close to both our hearts. Dogs Trust care for around 16,000 lost and abandoned dogs a year. Having had our own dogs from Dogs Trust we know how heartbreaking it is to see so many dogs in need of a home. Every dog deserves the chance at being happy and Dogs Trust does just that, gives all their dogs a chance at a new start and a new chance of a happy ever after and it doesn't matter how long it takes for them to find it!

Please sponsor us to help these dogs stay loved and cared for until they find their happy ever after!

Both myself and Larrie really appreciate your support 😊
