After successfully reaching the peak of the highest Mountain in North Africa 2 years ago, I realised that I could do without the comforts of a duvet, toilet facilities on tap, hair straighteners and more than canvas over my head (at least for a limited time!) and vowed to go and do more.........so on 26th June this year I am setting out on a 4 day trek in Iceland.  This is the Landamannalaugar route across the most actively vocanic area in Iceland - the days are long (very very long!) ,and the terrain so difficult that it is rarely crossed by adventurers. 

This trek includes wading through thigh high icy water and negotiating deep gorges and unlike Morocco we have to carry all our own kit whilst doing it (just writing this down is now making me doubt my sanity!!)

This year Carole and I are hoping that Capital Corporate FInance hits the magic £500k rasied for Childline - the figure is currently £380k.   I am funding the cost of the trip myself so every  penny rasied will go directly Childline to help them answer more calls from Children in trouble or danger.  Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
