My story

On Sunday 6th December I will be joining hundreds of other dashing Santa's for a 2 mile fun run / push around the Longleat estate fundraising for the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT)

SSIT which is Sainsbury's Local Charity of the Year and will be the Longleat Charity of the Year in 2010 is a regional charity setup to support the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital and people with spinal cord injury living in the south and south west of England.

In 1994 I spent 10 months at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury following my accident. SSIT are making an enormous difference to spinally injured patients providing greater independence and help getting back into society.

I have never participated in anything like this before. If you would like to join me in making a difference you can sponsor me through this site.
