About my charity : The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
The DSWT embraces measures for the conservation and protection of wildlife in Kenya. Including anti-poaching operations, community outreach, mobile veterinary support, and the rescue, hand-rearing and rehabilitation of elephant and rhino orphans, so that they can enjoy a quality of life in wild terms when grown.

My personal message:

Having only got involved a week or so ago obviously weeks of hard training have not gone into this! But on the day plenty of effort will go into the races - mainly to make sure I stay in the dragon boat and out of the water!

But please do support my efforts and more importantly the efforts of a charity who expend considerabe energy and resources on a daily basis to make sure orpahned elephants and rhinos get back on their feet.

Thanks so much for your support and please don't forget to select gift aid (as a UK taxpayer an extra 28% will be added to your donation without any extra cost to you).

One last plea. Do not come and watch! A charge will apply if you do!
