Team Desertaxi!
On July 19th, under the inspiration and guidance of Jimmy Walker from New York, Max Firman, Charles Oliver and Edward Monckton set off from Hyde Park in a 1991 LTI fairway (Black cab) for UlaanBaaatar in a wild adventurous dash across 2 continents 18 countries 2 deserts and 11 mountain ranges to raise a shedload of money for Help for Heroes. Exactly 1 month 1 week and 1 day later Team Desertaxi rolled into UB, battered but not broken after after one hell of an adventure. Help for Heroes is a fantastic charity directly supporting British servicemen and women injured in the line of duty. At the moment they are raising funds for a swimming pool and gym complex at Headley Court Rehabilitation centre to aid with the physiotherapy and rehabilition of those who are too often forgotten. Have a look at their website to find out more about their operations. We are trying to do as much as we can to further this cause, so please dig deep.
For more details on our trip please look at our website: www.teamdesertaxi.com
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Help for Heroes will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Any thing would be greatly appreciated and will make a difference and will push us on our way to our goal of £5,000.
Thank you very much for your support.
