My story

 

Hi my name is Harry Moseley and I am 9 years old. I live in Sheldon and go to Blakenhale Junior School. I have a brain tumour that cannot be surgically removed as it is too deep within my brain. I have had chemotherapy but 4 months into my 18 month treatment we had news that it had not worked and my tumour had grown. Since then I have had radiotherapy. Since then I have been ok in myself and so far my tumour is the same size.

 In june this year my special friend Robert who also has a brain tumour became very very poorly. I met Robert at hospital as we had our radiotherapy at the same time. Robert was in his mid 50’s. I wanted to help him get better as I hated seeing him ill and  so I decided to make beaded bracelets to sell so that I could raise lots and lots of money for Brain Tumour UK.

Sadly about 4 weeks into my campaign ‘help me help others’ my special friend died. This makes me very sad and I only wish I had started making them sooner. I know though that Robert was very proud of me and so I am never going to give up as I can still help other people and keep Roberts memory alive.
