In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Last December I found out that my dad has prostate cancer It's totally rubbish and seems unfair as he has always worked so hard all of his life and taken good care of his health. I suppose that's life! I am determined to do anything I can to help my dad to recover and decided to run the London Marathon for him. Honestly, I am in total agony after most of my training runs As I write this, I've got a hip flexor injury following a 20 mile run, but don't you worry I promise if you sponsor me that I will cross that finish line! Please please would you donate anything you can afford to help me run like the wind and raise money to help my dad. It would mean the world to me, it really would. I will love you forever and ever I promise!
